VeloShine Bike Wipes

I got caught out in the rain last Saturday while cycling on an off-road bike trail. By the time I got home my mountain bike was not actually muddy, but it was covered with a lot of sand and grime. Normally cleaning up my bike would have taken a while, but with the new VeloShine Bike Wipes the job was rather quick and easy!

I purchased three packages of VeloShine Bike Wipes couple of weeks ago while shopping on—they were advertised in the “Customers who bought this item also bought” listing for another bike product I bought. Saturday was the first time I used the VeloShine wipes and it was “love at first wipe.” I spent just a few minutes cleaning the bike with one of these wipes and it looked good as new. I cleaned the frame first, then the rims, tires and finally the chain. These wipes are really sturdy!

The cleaning solution on the wipes is hypoallergenic and alcohol free—this means you can use them on your bike or your body with no ill-effects.

The VeloShine Bike Wipes are 8×11 inches and are made of “environmentally friendly viscose rayon fiber” and are 100% biodegradable. They come 18 to a package and are available at for $8.99 a package ( offers free shipping for orders over $25.00, so buy three packages to avoid shipping costs).
